Rebecca Vandevelde (she/They)

Rebecca Vandevelde is an arts worker based in Toronto, working mainly as a freelance lighting designer and production manager, often taking small indie shows on tour, and sometimes making/curating events, spaces and installation-based experiments with Art is Hard.

Pip Bradford (she/her)

Pip Bradford is an arts worker based in Toronto, mostly working as a production manager and producer with dance companies and festivals. She sometimes makes events and spaces with Rebecca Vandevelde as part of Art Is Hard.

Crystal Lee (She/Her)

Crystal Lee began her independent career as a freelance Production Manager in Toronto where she received a Harold Award for her contributions to the community.  She currently works full-time with Why Not Theatre as their Production and Technical Manager.

David Degrow (he/Him)

David DeGrow is PM, lighting designer and teacher who has been part of over 300 productions across Canada since 2005. He is also a PhD candidate at the University of Toronto, where he researches theatre buildings, and teaches teachers.

Kyle Ahluwalia (He/Him)

Kyle Ahluwalia is a bilingual Technical Director, freelance PM and designer in the national capital region. After 6 years as production and touring manager at Théâtre Catapulte and touring TYA productions across francophone Canada, Kyle became the TD at GCTC in October 2019.

Sally Roberts (She/Her)

Sally Roberts lives and works in Toronto. She is a member of IATSE local 58 working as a stagehand in theatre. She also works as a freelance PM. In 2019, Sally was the PM for The Black Drum, produced by the Canadian Cultural Society for the Deaf, supported by Soulpepper Theatre. Currently, Sally is attending the George Brown College Honors Bachelor Program for ASL - English Interpretation.  Photo by Dahlia Katz

Laura philipps (She/her)

Laura is a freelance Producer and Production / Stage Manager of theatre, dance, and outdoor multimedia works. Laura lives and works on Treaty 13 territory. She volunteers with SURJ Toronto and is currently Producer of Henry G20.

Franco Pang (he/him)

Franco is a multidisciplinary production artist that works primarily in Toronto and Ottawa. He is a production and stage manager, designer, creator, and performer.
He is a recipient of the 2019 Prix Rideau for Emerging Artist in design and creation. He co-created, performed, and designed Light(less), a non-verbal show, which received an outstanding new work nomination from the Prix Rideau Awards.

Maya royer (She/her)

Born and raised in Toronto, Maya has always been passionate about her city and its culture. As a recent performance production graduate she looks forward to becoming a part of the Toronto performing arts community. Excited to see what the future holds, she is grateful to be a member of Means of Production as it has given her the opportunity to grow as both an artist and as a person.

PATRICK LYNN (They/Them)

Patrick Lynn (they/them) is a queer performance professional living in Toronto, working primarily as a freelance production manager and stage manager for dance, theatre, and live events. Having grown up in Fredericton, NB, they moved in 2017 to pursue their BFA, Performance: Production at TMU.
